Alexander Johnson was formed in 1974 and since then has developed a specialisation in the area of Criminal Law. We also deal with Criminal Cases Review Commission work.

In 1997 the Firm became a member of the Specialist Fraud Panel which was then set up by the Legal Services Commission and was one of the first 20 firms on the Panel. The Panel was set up by the Legal Services Commission to ensure there was a list of solicitors available to clients who had sufficient expertise in the area of white collar crime/fraud to justify inclusion on the Specialist Fraud List.

The Firm is based in Bethnal Green, East London and has available, conference rooms in Docklands (next to Docklands Arena) and in Central London at Bell Yard near the High Courts of Justice.

All large cases are undertaken by a Solicitor of at least 8 years qualification and will be assisted by Counsel, a Para Legal and full time secretarial support. The same Solicitor will retain conduct of the case from the start to its conclusion and the Solicitor with conduct of the case will always be the contact point for any client.
